Face score test

Face score test — rated 1–10

One free scan returns a face score between 1.00 and 10.00 in seconds — private, measured, and broken down into the six things that made it.

Same face, same score. A measured read — never a roast.

How it works

  1. 01

    Scan

One front-facing photo in even light. Guidance appears live, so you are not guessing at the angle.

  2. 02

    Score

A single number to two decimals, revealed with the six metric scores that produced it.

  3. 03

    Track

Rescan later and the trend line shows whether the number is actually moving, not whether today's light was kinder.

What the 1–10 face score actually measures

Six areas carry the score: symmetry, proportion against the classic thirds and fifths grid, jawline definition, eye area, skin evenness and overall presentation. Each is scored on its own before being weighted into the final number.

Because the measurements come from geometry rather than opinion, the test is repeatable. Two scans of the same photo return the same score, which is what makes tracking progress meaningful.

Why two decimal places

Whole numbers hide progress. Going from a 7 to an 8 can take months, while 7.12 to 7.41 is a real, visible change you would otherwise never see.

That precision is the point of retaking the test. The score is a measurement instrument, and instruments are only useful when they are fine enough to register improvement.

Beauty score, looks rating, face score — one number

People search for this under a dozen names, and they all want the same thing: a straight answer with something underneath it. The face score test gives one number and six metric bars, not a verdict with no explanation.

That structure is the whole point. A beauty score you cannot act on is entertainment; a score that names your weakest metric is a starting point.

Questions people ask

Is there a free face score test?

Yes — the first measured scan is free, no card needed. It returns your score from 1.00 to 10.00 plus every metric behind it.

How is a face score calculated?

The scan measures symmetry, vertical thirds, horizontal fifths, jaw definition, eye spacing and skin evenness from facial landmarks, then weights them into a single 1–10 number. Repeat the same photo and you get the same score.

What is a good face score?

Most real results land between 5.50 and 8.00. Anything above 8.50 is genuinely uncommon, and small gains matter more than the absolute number — a 0.30 rise is a visible change.

Is my photo private?

The photo never leaves your device unless you share a score card yourself. Only anonymized measurements are used to write your read.

Is this the same as a hotness test or attractiveness test?

Same scan and same number. Face score, beauty score and attractiveness test are different names for the one measured 1–10 result.

Does Hotness roast you?

No. There is no roast mode and no shaming copy anywhere in the app. Every result is written to be honest about where you stand and specific about what would move the number.

Will my score change if I scan again?

Not for the same photo — the measurement is geometry-first, so identical input returns an identical score. Across new photos the number moves only when your lighting, angle or presentation genuinely changes, which is what makes progress readable.

What does it cost?

Your first measured scan and its full breakdown are free, with no card. If you want to keep going, Premium is $4.99 a week or $69.99 a year, with 45 scans a month and no charge per extra scan.
