AI face rating

Face rating, measured 1–10

A free scan returns a face score from 1.00 to 10.00 in seconds — private, repeatable, and explained by the six measurements that produced the rating.

Same face, same score. A measured read — never a roast.

How it works

  1. 01

    Frame one photo

Front-facing, neutral expression, even light. Live guidance lines you up before the capture.

  2. 02

    Read the rating

One number to two decimals, revealed with symmetry, proportion, jawline, eyes, skin and presentation scored separately.

  3. 03

    Rate again later

Rescan in a week and the trend line shows whether the rating actually moved — not whether the lighting flattered you.

What an AI face rating can and cannot see

The rating is built from geometry: distances, angles and ratios between landmarks on your face. Those are stable, measurable, and identical every time the same photo is scanned, which is why the score can be compared across weeks.

What it cannot see is everything that happens in motion — how you laugh, how you dress, how you hold a room. Any face rating tool that claims otherwise is guessing and dressing the guess up as science.

Beauty score, looks rating, face rating — one number

People search for the same thing under a dozen names. Whether you call it a beauty score, a looks rating or an AI face rating, the underlying question is the same: where do I stand, honestly, and what would move it.

Hotness answers both halves. The number tells you where you stand; the six metric bars tell you which single area is holding it down, which is the part that turns a rating into something useful.

Why the same photo always rates the same

Ratings that wobble between scans are worthless for tracking. Because the measurement layer is deterministic, rescanning the identical photo returns the identical score to two decimal places.

That is what makes a rescan meaningful. If the number moves, something about your face or your presentation actually changed — not the model's mood.

Questions people ask

Is there a free face score test?

Yes. Your first face rating is free and needs no card — you get the score out of 10 and all six metrics behind it.

How is a face score calculated?

Facial landmarks are detected on your device, then symmetry, vertical thirds, horizontal fifths, jaw definition, eye spacing and skin evenness are measured and weighted into one number from 1.00 to 10.00.

Do you store my photo?

No. The photo stays on your device unless you choose to share a score card. Only anonymized measurements are used to write your read.

What's a good score out of 10?

Most real ratings land between 5.50 and 8.00. Above 8.50 is genuinely uncommon, and a 0.30 gain is a visible change rather than a rounding artefact.

Is this the same as a hotness test or attractiveness test?

Same scan, same score, different words. Face rating, hotness test and attractiveness test all describe the one measured result Hotness returns.

Is AI face rating accurate?

It is accurate about geometry and consistent between scans, which is what makes progress trackable. It cannot read charm, expression or presence, and it does not pretend to.

Does Hotness roast you?

No. There is no roast mode and no shaming copy anywhere in the app. Every result is written to be honest about where you stand and specific about what would move the number.

What does it cost?

Your first measured scan and its full breakdown are free, with no card. If you want to keep going, Premium is $4.99 a week or $69.99 a year, with 45 scans a month and no charge per extra scan.
